The first Italian Licensed CrossFit® Event returns to RiminiWellness from 29 to 31 May 2026, with a new, even more inclusive competition format
Following the success of its tenth edition - a sold-out event with athletes of all ages and levels from around the world and over 500.000 social media contacts - the 2026 Italian Showdown once again hosts the largest competition open to all CrossFit enthusiasts.
As always, there are no online qualifications: starting from 1 January 2026, anyone can register to participate in person and test their strength, speed and ability through a series of fitness-based physical challenges. The competition is open to athletes of all ages and ability levels, in three divisions: Beginner, Intermediate and Rx.
The requirements to compete are even more accessible, with standards tailored to the most common characteristics of CrossFit class attendees. This way, first-time beginners, intermediate competitors and experienced athletes can compete against their peers in ability level and age, with Age Groups ranging from 18 to 60 and beyond!
