Dr. Elpida Tsintsifa Dr. Elpida Tsintsifa is an Exercise Scientist, Sports Medicine specialist, and senior Clinical Pilates educator with over 30 years of academic, clinical, and professional experience in higher education and advanced fitness education. She holds a PhD in Sports Medicine from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, with research focused on the role of fitness levels in obesity management. She also holds a Master of Science in Exercise and Movement Science (Fitness Management) from the University of Oregon, USA, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Dr. Tsintsifa has served for more than two decades as Adjunct Professor at the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, teaching Exercise Physiology, Nutrition and Wellness, Weight Management, and Fitness Appraisal and Exercise Prescription. She currently holds an academic appointment as Adjunct Professor at Anatolia American University of Thessaloniki teaching Exercise Physiology and Nutrition She is the Founder, Owner, and Director of Education of North Academy of Fitness, a leading provider of evidence-based education and professional certification programs for fitness and Pilates professionals in Greece and Cyprus. Through the Academy, she has designed and delivered advanced curricula in exercise science, sports medicine, clinical Pilates, and training for special populations, contributing significantly to professional education standards in the region. In parallel, she is the Founder and Managing Director of Fitness Lifestyle Club, a premium boutique gym and Pilates studio, specializing in personal training, semi-personal training, and small group training, with a strong emphasis on individualized coaching and evidence-based practice.
