Active Ecosystems-Aligning Investment & Innovation
Resources and investment opportunities for organisations in the sports sector
For the third consecutive year, the European Platform for Sports Innovation (EPSI) confirms its presence at RiminiWellness - Europe’s leading event for the fitness and sports sectors - to bring together a comprehensive discussion on the relevance of fundraising, access to finance, and business creation for the sports and fitness ecosystems. Moderated by Alberto Bichi (EPSI Executive Director), the session will leverage the expertise of Kristiina Jokelainen (Founder at SmartNorth Ltd), Mike Yang (Founder & CEO of AquaBloom International Sports Technology Group), and Audra Shallal (Board Member of EBAN Sports), who will share practical perspectives on aligning funding and investment strategies with innovation across Europe and beyond.
A more interconnected sports ecosystem is possible only if it is structurally interconnected. Through this dynamic panel discussion, workshop participants will learn how to identify, access and combine funding and investment opportunities, both at EU and international level. The experts' panel has the ambition to showcase the tangible value that their organisations can offer to the RiminiWellness community. EPSI will lead the session, giving the attendees a unique opportunity to interact face-to-face with three remarkable sport leaders to outline actionable next steps for startups, investors, and stakeholders to benefit from these opportunities.
We promise: participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to engage with international networks, access resources, and turn collaboration into tangible growth.
