On Sunday, June 1st from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at RiminiWellness 2025, Leone 1947 and Opi Since 82 present an exclusive preview of LEONE BOXING NIGHT – Inferno a Santa Croce, the spectacular boxing event set to take place on June 8th in the iconic Piazza Santa Croce in Florence.

During the fair, the fighters who will compete in the main event will be officially introduced, with interviews, photo ops, and moments dedicated to fans and boxing enthusiasts. A special behind-the-scenes feature of what happens at RiminiWellness will be broadcast on DAZN, offering a taste of the heat and intensity building toward fight night.

With the support of the City of Florence and the historic Calcio Storico Fiorentino, LEONE BOXING NIGHT – Inferno a Santa Croce will bring world-class boxing to the very heart of Florence, blending sport, culture, and tradition like never before.

Headlining the event:

• Fabio Turchi, Florence’s own and a top talent from Opi Since 82, returns home to face Milans Volkovs (Latvia) in a 10-round bout for the WBO Global Cruiserweight Title.
• Simone Rao, also from Florence, takes on Francesco Grandelli in a thrilling match for an international featherweight title.
• Rounding out the trio of local heroes, Leonardo Balli will meet Othmane Dioual in the ring for the WBC International Silver Super Middleweight Title.

The entire night is set against the symbolic theme of Dante’s Inferno, turning Piazza Santa Croce into an open-air arena where the ring rises among the “circles of hell.” Under Dante’s eternal gaze, boxers will clash in battles filled with passion, grit, and redemption. This is not just a boxing event — it’s a journey of strength, fire, and glory.

June 8 Fight Night Schedule:

• 5:30 PM: Undercard (2 six-round bouts, live on DAZN)
