The Movement and Therapy Summit 2026 is one of the main Italian events dedicated to the integration between healthcare professionals and movement specialists; physiotherapists, doctors, osteopaths, athletic trainers, strength coaches and graduates in Sports Sciences, with the aim of creating a common language between rehabilitation, functional assessment and performance.

Conceived and founded by Marco Rovatti (PT, DO, SM, MSc), the Summit stems from the desire to overcome the cultural fragmentation between clinical practice and training, promoting a shared approach to understanding and managing human movement.

The 2026 edition will take place on May 29, 2026, and as usual, the Summit will be held within RiminiWellness.
This edition represents a historic milestone for the Italian landscape: for the first time in our country, Gray Cook (MSPT, OCS, CSCS), founder of the FMS system and co-creator of SFMA, one of the most influential figures worldwide in the field of functional movement assessment, will be present.

Lee Burton (PhD, ATC, CSCS), co-founder of SFMA and international reference in research and clinical application of functional assessment models, will also be speaking.
Gray Cook's presence in Italy has been made possible also thanks to the collaboration with Daniele Barbieri (DC, MSc) who facilitated contact with international speakers, contributing to the realization of a project of great value for the Italian professional community.

The Movement and Therapy Summit thus confirms itself as a space for interdisciplinary dialogue, where rehabilitation and performance meet to build a shared culture of movement, based on scientific rigor, practical application, and professional collaboration.
