Rimini City Aquathlon

The Rimini City Aquathlon marks the return of a multi-disciplinary event to Rimini after nearly 10 years. On 06/01/2025 Piazzale Boscovich will host the 1st Stage of the newly formed National Aquathlon Circuit of the Italian Triathlon Federation with a competition aimed at youth and adults from 16 years of age and a youth trial dedicated to children from 6 to 15 years of age. 

The aquathlon is a multi-discipline that involves the seamless performance of a swimming fraction and a running fraction. 

As for the former, the race course will be set up in the stretch of water in front of the Free Beach between Bathing No. 1 and the pier, while as for the latter, part of the Rimini Promenade and part of the port quay will be involved. The start will be directly from the Beach, while the changing area between the two fractions and the finish will be set up on the quay itself. In order to take part in the Event, it is necessary to be in possession of a membership card for the Italian Triathlon Federation or a competitive or non-competitive medical certificate, depending on the category to which you belong.  

The event comes two weeks before the Italian Youth Championships of the specialty and will therefore represent a technically important appointment to finalize the preparation.
