Tamboo is a total body fitness discipline that blends percussion, music and movement into an engaging, inclusive and multisensory experience. It is rhythm, it is energy, it is vibration. When the Tamboo is struck, it produces no sound, but generates a physical vibration that travels through the body and the group, transforming the workout into a powerful flow of shared emotions.
At the heart of the method is the Tamboo equipment: an entirely Italian innovation, designed to be multifunctional, sustainable and suitable for every type of workout. Made from wood, iron and rubber, it allows the combination of toning exercises, cardio drumming, core training and functional training within a single session. It can be lifted, tilted, used as a support or as a lever, effectively and creatively engaging all muscle groups.
Tamboo is the only cardio drumming programme that encompasses the benefits of both aerobic and anaerobic training combined with real percussion and physical vibration. Thanks to its structure and choreographic simplicity, Tamboo is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, from teenagers to those over 70.
At RiminiWellness, Tamboo will be featured through open classes, live performances and demonstrations: an opportunity to experience first-hand an accessible and non-judgmental format. Each session combines variable intensity, engaging music and a strong sense of belonging.
Tamboo is also an industrial project: it was born from the fusion of fitness, music and engineering, with an innovative start-up and a development plan already underway. Smart versions of the equipment are currently being developed, featuring sensors, Bluetooth connectivity and a performance-monitoring app. The discipline is recognised by CONI and is affiliated with CSEN.
