Alessandro Di Flaviano

Biography

Alessandro Di Flaviano, born in Padua in 1996, holds a diploma as a chemical technician and a degree in Food Hygiene and Health Safety. After graduating, he continued his training by specialising in digital marketing, a field in which he has developed a career as a science communicator and social media manager, with the project 'Rubricalimenti'. Passionate about food in all its forms, from gastronomy to nutrition, he is the author of the books La scienza del cibo (Rizzoli, 2023) and EncicloCiboPedia (Cucchiaio d'Argento, 2024). He actively collaborates with public bodies and private organisations for social media communication, including Regione Veneto (as part of the 'Veneto Creators' project), EFSA, the Ministry of Health, the European Union, Alta Cucina, Confartigianato, and many others. He has been awarded the Sprint Award in the Health & Self-Awareness category, regularly contributes to newspapers and magazines, and hosts a segment on food safety within the television programme Il Mio Medico, broadcast on TV2000.
