Danilo Bondi

First level ELAV Professor and member of the research team, trained at the University of Firenze in “Sports Science” he then took courses around Italy and beyond thereby tuning his skills in physical education, sports science, adapted motor activity and physiology. He landed in Abruzzo for his Ph.D. in “Medical Biotechnology,” and has remained at the University of Chieti - Pescara for a post-doc position and currently Researcher in Physiology, turning his investigation toward exercise, longevity, nutrition and human adaptations to extraordinary environments. A lifelong sportsman, he supports and promotes the dissemination of scientific discoveries to different social contexts.
