Floriana Carbone

Dr. Carbone's main scientific interests concern prenatal care, labor, and pelvic floor dysfunctions that can cause pain, incontinence, reduced quality of life, and sexual dysfunctions. Her research activity also focuses on predicting pregnancy complications. She has been working as a gynecologist at the IRCCS Ca' Granda Foundation, Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico in Milan, since 2015. She is the Head of the Pelvic Unit of a public center located in Italy's largest maternal and university center. Thanks to her research activity, she has been appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the historic and public University of Milan.
