Giorgio Calabrese

Prof. Giorgio Calabrese holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery with a specialization in Food Science. He is a Professor of Food and Human Nutrition at the University of Eastern Piedmont and the University of Turin. A former member of the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) and President of the National Food Safety Committee, he is an author of numerous books and scientific articles. He serves as a consultant for RAI TV and writes for major national newspapers. He was the official dietitian of Juventus F.C. and a global advocate for the Mediterranean Diet.
