Irene Di Salvo

Born in 1998, Irene Di Salvo is a multifaceted artist who weaves together photography, pole dance, and events and communication into a single creative vision. She graduates with honors (110 cum laude) in Photography from RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts, developing a visual language that combines aesthetics, identity, and movement. Pole dance enters her life as an act of love towards herself: a place in which to transform vulnerability into expression and physical strength into emotional presence. From this journey, her role as a teacher and performer is born, capable of bringing all her visual sensitivity into the discipline. She is a founding partner of a company dedicated to event planning and visual communication, Snap Studio, based in Rome. With this project she brings pole in front of the lens through dedicated photo shoots and takes it outside traditional spaces with Polers in giro: outdoor gatherings where people from all over Italy come together to train, create images, and share community. For Irene, pole dance, photography, and events are three different languages that tell the same story: freedom, femininity, and identity.
