Karla Mead

I was born in Brazil, where dance has been a part of my life from a young age. After moving to Miami, I discovered a passion for fitness and have been in the industry for 20 years.  I have taught a wide range of fitness formats and am deeply committed to wellness and helping people improve their lives through healthy choices.
For 17 years, I've worked as a Zumba Education Specialist, which has given me the incredible opportunity to work alongside Beto Perez and even introduce the program to my home country. Zumba® gave me the opportunity to change thousands of lives through . I also have enjoyed learning about the diverse range of specialties, including Aqua Zumba®, Zumba, and Zumba Kids. I truly believe that passion for one's work is key to a happy and healthy life.
