Massimiliano Arcieri

Massimiliano Arcieri is a Satellite Application Engineer at the European Space Agency (ESA), where he works on satellite application and downstream programmes, with a particular focus on the development of innovative services based on space technologies. In his role, he supports the assessment, development and implementation of solutions that integrate satellite data with commercial applications across various sectors such as energy, water, mobility and sustainability. He coordinates business development activities, stakeholder engagement and validation with end users, contributing to the transformation of innovative ideas into operational services. Massimiliano holds a background in Geological Sciences and an Executive MBA, combining technical and strategic expertise to foster the adoption of space technologies in the market. He is actively involved in international workshops, working groups and panels, promoting collaboration between industry, institutions and end users.
