Riccardo Bentivogli

Biography

Dr. Riccardo Bentivogli, born in Forlì in 1993, develops his professional path in the study of human movement, neurophysiology and biomechanics applied to health. After obtaining his Bachelor's Degree in Movement Sciences in Bologna and his Master's Degree in Preventive and Adapted Physical Activity in Florence, he deepens his knowledge of motor control at the NEXS Department of the University of Copenhagen, an international excellence in movement research ranked as the World's Best Research Department according to the Shanghai Ranking in 2018. He continues with his specialization in Chiropractic at the Barcelona College of Chiropractic, deepening his understanding of the spine as an integrated functional unit and its influence on posture, motor control and neurostructural function. Within this context, he focuses his research on the craniocervical region, a strategic point for neurostructural integration, motor programming and control of cerebrospinal dynamics. These skills lead him, from 2025, to be part of the Scientific Committee of the Italian Chiropractic Association and to participate in international initiatives for the development of the profession. The spine serves as the body's supporting structure: axial alignment precedes and determines the function of the appendicular segments, constituting the foundation of movement efficiency. His clinical approach is based on rigorous Evidence-Based Practice and neurostructural correction guided by static and dynamic instrumental imaging. Combining neurophysiology, biomechanics and advanced functional assessment, Dr. Bentivogli applies a clinical model that integrates analysis, prevention and intervention, with the aim of optimizing patients' health and performance in a lasting way.
