CrossFit® will be at RiminiWellness again this year with CrossFit Italia!

 

Hall A5 - CrossFit®

 

We have planned many events focusing on the CrossFit® method, which will take place in several dedicated areas. Some events are open to everyone interested in discovering what makes our community special. Other events are exclusively for our affiliates and certified CrossFit trainers who are already dedicated to promoting CrossFit® principles to enhance their athletes' performance and health.

 

The CrossFit Italia area will be in Pavilion A5, next to the CrossFit Licensed Event Italian Showdown, and will be open from Thursday to Sunday.

 

Here, you can register for and participate in various CrossFit® classes designed for all levels. There will also be several exclusive workshops led by certified CrossFit Trainers L3 and CrossFit Coaches L4.

 

This year, we're excited to introduce private "Movement Improvement" sessions: these are free, 15-minute individual classes where you can learn and refine a specific movement from the CrossFit® method.

 

Additionally, CrossFit Italia and CrossFit Medical Society® will be participating in the "Movement and Therapy Summit".

 

Dr. Matteo Pozzati, Country Manager and Coach CrossFit L4, will be presenting on the CrossFit® method and its positive effects on longevity and health. This event is for healthcare professionals and will be held on Thursday, May 29, in Performance Arena. It is organized by Dr. Marco Rovatti and the Rovatti Plan Specialized Medical Center. Throughout the day, prominent international experts in rehabilitation, health, and movement as a means of preventing chronic diseases will also be speaking.

CrossFit Class

  • Each CrossFit class is scheduled for 45 minutes, allowing 15 minutes for transition and setup between classes.
     
  • Every CrossFit Class will have a specific focus
    a. Classic CrossFit:  Relative High Intensity by Functional Movements for Everyone!
    b. CrossFit KIDS: Specific Training Methodology scientifically tailored to the participant’s age
    c. CrossFit Gymnastic: CrossFit Class with Gymnastic Skills
    d. CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting: CrossFit Class with Olympic Weightlifting Skills
    e. CrossFit Adaptive: Every CrossFit Class is open to everyone, but these specific classes are reserved for Adaptive CrossFit Athletes, it is a variation of the traditional CrossFit regimen, specifically designed to accommodate athletes with physical or neurological impairments
     
  • The specific focus of each class will be detailed on site. Participants can sign up and reserve a maximum of one spot per class category per day. The reservation process will be explained on site.

Movement Improvement

  • New this year are complimentary 15-minute private "MOVEMENT IMPROVEMENT" sessions. These individual lessons allow you to learn and refine a specific CrossFit® movement of your choosing.
