ECM Sports Science Conference

by FisioScience

FisioScience participates in RiminiWellness as a scientific and educational presence, with the aim of providing solid, up-to-date clinical content that is truly useful for the daily practice of physiotherapists. The program will include specialized speeches and talks dedicated to the most relevant topics in modern rehabilitation, with a strictly evidence-based approach oriented towards clinical reasoning: problem framing, therapeutic choices consistent with the patient's profile, load modulation criteria, exercise progressions, and communication strategies that improve adherence and results.

The focal point of the participation will be a significant scientific congress focused on shoulder and knee, two highly complex and functionally impactful areas where the synergy between orthopedics and physiotherapy is crucial for the quality of care. The congress will address in an integrated manner the main decision-making junctures along the management continuum: from clinical assessment and triage to the choice between conservative and post-operative approaches, from treatment progression (and regression) criteria to functional markers that guide return to sport and performance, up to the management of the most frequent critical issues (persistence of symptoms, fear of movement, overload, expectations, and recovery times).

The educational proposal is designed to offer concrete and replicable tools: not rigid protocols, but principles, criteria, and decision-making models that can be transferred to different contexts, with particular attention to the quality of assessment, the choice of objectives, and the coherence between intervention and outcome. RiminiWellness thus becomes a meeting point between scientific updates and clinical application, where physiotherapists can engage with valuable content and return to their practice with operational guidelines, clear rationales, and a modern vision of musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
