Gianmarco Capitani

Gianmarco Capitani is a physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal, sports and post-surgical rehabilitation. After graduating in Physiotherapy from the Università Politecnica delle Marche, he continued his training by obtaining a First Level Master's Degree in Rehabilitation of Musculoskeletal Disorders from the Università degli Studi di Genova. He works as a self-employed professional at the Riabilita centre in Civitanova Marche, where he treats patients with musculoskeletal disorders through manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, education and functional recovery programmes. He has also gained experience in the sports field as a sport therapist for US Ancona, overseeing athletes' physical condition before training sessions and matches, providing pitch-side medical assistance and managing acute injuries. This experience has allowed him to deepen his work with sportspeople and athletes, with particular focus on a safe and effective return to performance. He also collaborates with the Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma as a teaching assistant in the module dedicated to the shoulder within the First Level Master's Degree in Musculoskeletal and Rheumatological Physiotherapy. He is a member of the Italian Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (SICSeG), of which he has been Regional Delegate for Marche since 2025.
