Andrea Abodi is the Minister for Sport and Youth in the Meloni Government. Graduated in Economics and Commerce from LUISS, he specialized in industrial sports management and the development of sports marketing activities. He began his managerial career in 1987 and served as President of the Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie B and Federal Councilor of the FIGC from July 20, 2010, to March 6, 2017. On October 16, 2017, he was appointed President of the Institute for Sports Credit. On October 22, 2022, he was sworn in before the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
