Biography
Research Director at CNR. His research activity focuses on the nutritional improvement of plant species through the use of innovative biotechnologies and new precision genetic technologies. He is involved in projects aimed at enhancing the nutritional value of minor species with local potential. He is the coordinator of the CNR project “Alimentazione, nutrizione e invecchiamento (Nutrage)”. He is the author of more than 120 publications in international scientific journals.
