Anna Maria Vitali

Anna Maria Vitali began studying Pilates in 1980 at the London Contemporary Dance School with Alan Herdman, combining her career as a dancer and choreographer with continuous research into movement. She graduated with honours in Medicine and Surgery at the University La Sapienza in Rome, and has deepened the application of Pilates in the treatment of rheumatic diseases.

From 2008 to 2014, she was Pilates Master Trainer for Balanced Body Inc. in Italy.

In 2014, she founded Fisicamente Formazione, expanding her teaching to methodologies such as Fascial Training and Fascial Fitness, of which she is a Master Trainer. He has collaborated with internationally renowned experts, including Carla Stecco, Antonio Stecco, Andry Vleeming and Robert Schleip, Divo Muller, Daniela Meinl and Philip Beach, and has lectured at the University of Padua.

Between 2019 and 2023, she taught in the US, UK, Brazil, Switzerland, New Zealand, Korea and China, establishing herself as an international speaker.

In 2023, she founded the school Fisicamente by Anna Maria Vitali, a recognised professional training school in China, and became a yoga teacher, continuing to integrate her artistic experience with a solid scientific basis.

In 2025, she took part as a presenter at CONNECT in Munich, the most important sports medicine conference dedicated to connective tissue, giving a seminar on the role of the superficial fascia in movement and emotions.
