Filippo Tosarelli

Born in Bologna in 1990, Dr. Filippo Tosarelli completed his classical high school education at Marco Minghetti High School and then enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at Alma Mater Studiorum after a year of Biotechnology. Towards the end of his university studies, Dr. Tosarelli established his first professional connections with Dr. Francesco Della Villa, current Director of the Education and Research Department at Isokinetic, with whom he engaged in productive research activity. This fruitful collaborative relationship led to the publication of several scientific articles in important international journals in the field of Sports Medicine, including a globally significant Video Analysis study on the mechanism of anterior cruciate ligament injury in professional football. In the following years, he began a training path within the Isokinetic center in Bologna that allowed him to thoroughly understand the most modern principles of orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, focusing greatly on the biomechanics of movement through the implementation of the Movement Analysis Test (MAT Test). Since 2021, Isokinetic Bologna has entrusted Dr. Tosarelli with the management of functional evaluation tests, while he continues his scientific research activities in parallel. Since 2022, he has been involved as a speaker at international Sports Medicine conferences and at the University of Physiotherapy in Bologna. At the same time, he began his career as a Case Manager at the Isokinetic center in Bologna, where he applies all the knowledge acquired during his years of training and research to patient care.
