Physicist, senior researcher at the Institute of Bioeconomy of the National Research Council of Italy, started his career in meteorology and atmospheric sciences, later focusing on innovative energy and food technologies. Currently engaged with the exploitation of immaterial forest ecosystem services for human health, and green, innovative and sustainable extraction and exploitation of food and forest by-products. In the latter field, he focuses on industrial-scale, economically and environmentally sustainable solutions, and novel products aimed at supporting individual and public health.
