Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Bologna since 2021, he conducts research in the field of Nutritional Biochemistry and Biochemistry applied to Physical Exercise. His interests are particularly focused on the study of biochemical signaling pathways modulated by nutraceutical components. Another area of interest is the study and development of nutritional supplements for optimizing sports performance, prevention, and wellness. He is involved in national and international research projects and collaborates with several European Institutes.
