Maurizio Di Leo’s professional journey, one of Italy's foremost experts in phytotherapy, began in 1978 with a university diploma in herbalism from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Urbino. In 1980, he opened the Di Leo Herbal Shop in Casalecchio di Reno (BO).
In 1981, he opened the Di Leo Herbal Laboratory.
He has been a speaker at about 20 national and international conferences and has written around a hundred articles on phytotherapy and flower remedies for industry magazines.
