Biography

I have been working as a dietitian at the AUSL of Modena since 2006, based at the Diabetology Service of Modena. Since 2021, I have been the Nutrition and Dietetics Reference at the AUSL of Modena, a role focused on redefining the qualitative-quantitative objectives and procedures for nutritional assistance at the Company level, in territorial services and hospitals, in collaboration with the Directors of the Operational Units where dietitians carry out their activities; participation in working groups or projects aimed at improving the integration of Dietitians into multidisciplinary teams, in accordance with specific competencies and following a logic of effective integration, particularly in pathways dedicated to the treatment of Chronic Diseases: Diabetes, Renal Diseases, Eating Disorders, OSAS, Cognitive Disorders and Dementia, malnutrition by deficit and by excess; development and implementation of projects aimed at meeting the nutritional assistance needs of citizens at home and/or admitted to Hospitals, guests at CRA/CSSR facilities within the company's territory, in the field of Artificial Nutrition. Since 2023, I also collaborate as a dietitian at the CDCD of Modena, within the 'Project for Nutritional Assistance for People with Dementia', aimed at the prevention and treatment of malnutrition in subjects in the early stages of dementia. From the Academic Year 2024-2025, I teach 'Cultural Competence of the Dietitian' at the Degree Course in Dietetics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
