Avoid Frailty: how to age healthily

Active aging: integrated strategies to prevent frailty and dementia

An event dedicated to the promotion of healthy longevity, with a focus on prevention, innovation and integration among healthcare professionals. The workshop proposes a multidimensional approach to active aging, highlighting how it is possible to maintain autonomy and quality of life through early and targeted interventions.

From understanding the mechanisms of aging to new paradigms oriented towards prevention, concrete strategies to counteract cognitive and functional fragility will be presented. Considerable attention will be given to the determinants of cognitive health: psychosocial, cardiovascular, environmental factors and lifestyles, with the contribution of experts in geriatric, nursing, rehabilitation and nutritional fields.

The role of physical activity, nutrition and social participation in building cognitive reserve and preventing decline will also be explored in depth. Particular attention will also be paid to innovative models of prevention in communities, with an inclusive approach oriented towards multicultural reality.

At the end of the event, participants will have the opportunity to access moments of dialogue with professionals and screening activities and information, to promote greater awareness of risk factors and prevention opportunities.

An opportunity for citizens to acquire practical tools and updated knowledge to "age well", in an active and conscious manner.
